AMC Robotics Taps HIVE GPU Cloud to Power AI Robotics Development

San Antonio–based AMC Robotics is tapping GPU infrastructure from HIVE Digital (NASDAQ: HIVE) as demand for computing power spreads beyond AI model training into robotics applications.
The two companies announced on Friday that they had entered a strategic collaboration under which AMC Robotics will use HIVE’s GPU cloud infrastructure to support the development and deployment of its AI-powered robotics systems. The partnership also opens the door to broader cooperation in areas such as data processing, AI optimization, and scalable infrastructure for future products.
Under the arrangement, AMC Robotics has begun running workloads on HIVE’s AI compute platform, which is operated through its BUZZ High Performance Computing (HPC) subsidiary. HIVE has been expanding the GPU-based service globally as it pivots from cryptocurrency mining toward AI cloud infrastructure. The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
AMC Robotics is a recently listed robotics developer focused on AI-powered security and inspection machines, including quadruped “robot dog” platforms designed for industrial monitoring and warehouse patrol. The company recently showcased its Kyro robot at the Tokyo Security Show 2026, where the machine demonstrated autonomous navigation, heat-anomaly detection and remote inspection capabilities. Such systems rely on computer vision and real-time data processing, which require significant GPU computing resources during development and training.
“As we continue to expand our AI-driven robotics solutions, access to reliable and scalable infrastructure is increasingly important,” AMC Robotics Chief Executive Officer Sean Da said in the statement.
The New York-based company became publicly traded in December after completing a merger with special purpose acquisition company AlphaVest Acquisition Corp., with the combined company renamed AMC Robotics and its shares beginning trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol AMCI.
AMC Robotics traces its operating roots to earlier smart-security and computer-vision technology businesses led by founder and Chief Executive Sean (Shengwei) Da, who remains the company’s controlling shareholder following the merger. As of mid-March, AMC Robotics carries a market capitalization of $200 million dollars, placing it among the smaller publicly traded robotics developers.
HIVE has been repositioning itself as an AI cloud infrastructure provider while maintaining a bitcoin mining operation. “Robotics applications may represent a growing area of demand for AI compute infrastructure,” said HIVE President and CEO Aydin Kilic.
The company has been stepping up its AI efforts in recent months, positioning its robotic systems as edge-AI platforms capable of performing real-time analytics for security patrols, facility inspection and industrial monitoring.
